The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key stage 1 and Key stage 2.
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Follow school planning and adapt lessons as required.
  • Encourage pupils to participate actively in their learning.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing.
  • Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • Contribute to the school’s nurturing and inclusive ethos.

What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching within a school environment.
  • Are confident delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Are flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to new environments.
  • Are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
  • Enjoy building strong professional relationships and becoming part of a school community.
