French Teacher (Part-Time, Temporary)

Monarch Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary academy in Birmingham for a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
This is a temporary position for one term initially, offering an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact within a supportive and ambitious school environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students in developing confidence and enthusiasm for language learning.
- Contribute to the wider success of the MFL department.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching French at secondary level.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
- Is committed to raising achievement and promoting excellent outcomes for all learners.
- Can quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.

Salary: £165-£262 per day (Dependent on experience)
