At Monarch Education, we’re looking for an ambitious and relationship-driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our successful Bristol team and lead our established Primary Education desk.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for managing a busy Primary Education desk across the South West, working with an established client base and a strong pipeline of teaching and support staff.

This role offers the ideal combination of account management, candidate attraction, relationship building, and business development, making it perfect for a recruiter who enjoys building long-term partnerships and delivering outstanding service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of a warm and established Primary Education desk
• Building strong relationships with primary schools and education professionals across the region
• Recruiting for daily supply, long-term, and permanent teaching and support staff vacancies
• Developing new business through school visits, networking, and relationship-building activities
• Sourcing, screening, and attracting high-quality education professionals
• Managing the full recruitment cycle from vacancy qualification through to placement
• Delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates

What We’re Looking For

• Previous recruitment experience is desirable but not essential
• A proactive and resilient approach with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• A genuine desire to build a successful long-term career in recruitment
• Full driving licence preferred due to regular school visits
