Food & Nutrition Teacher (Full-Time)

Long-Term Contract Until March 2027

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food & Nutrition Teacher to join a highly successful secondary school with an outstanding reputation for academic excellence. This is a full-time, long-term position until March 2027, offering the opportunity to work with motivated, high-achieving pupils in a supportive and ambitious learning environment.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Food & Nutrition and committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.

The Role

  • Teaching Food & Nutrition across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote excellent outcomes.
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress.
  • Contributing to a thriving and supportive department.
  • Full-time position running until March 2027.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching Food & Nutrition within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Has the ability to motivate and challenge academically able students.
  • Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.

Alternative Backgrounds Considered

Applications are also welcomed from qualified Science Teachers who have experience of teaching Food & Nutrition, or who can demonstrate the knowledge, skills and willingness to teach the subject confidently.
