Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with a range of complex learning difficulties, physical needs, communication needs, and additional learning requirements within a specialist education setting in Nottingham.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, supporting pupils to access learning, develop essential life skills, and reach their individual potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils with complex and additional needs
• Assisting with communication, social, and emotional development
• Supporting learning activities tailored to individual needs
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
• Experience within education, care, support work, healthcare, or similar settings
