Monarch Education is currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal student within a welcoming primary school in Bradley Stoke. The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated support for a non-verbal pupil throughout the school day.
- Help the pupil access learning activities both inside and outside the classroom.
- Use communication strategies and tools to support engagement and interaction.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and wider support staff.
- Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of the pupil.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and social development.
- Support emotional wellbeing and positive participation in school life.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

- Have experience supporting children with SEND or additional communication needs.
- Have experience working with non-verbal pupils or children with speech and language difficulties.
