Full-Time Supply History Teacher (with A-Level Experience)

A successful and high-achieving girls’ grammar school in Warwickshire is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic History Teacher to cover a period of staff absence on a full-time supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated History specialist to join a thriving academic environment with motivated students and a strong commitment to educational excellence.

The Role

The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3, 4 and A-Level, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students and support outstanding academic outcomes.

The role is full-time and will run from 25 September until approximately 9 November, covering a period of absence.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have significant experience teaching History within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of successful A-Level History teaching.
  • Be confident in planning, delivering and assessing high-quality lessons.
  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.
