Monarch Education is currently recruiting a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Bedminster, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children as they begin their educational journey and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

The Role
As an EYFS Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support children throughout their Early Years education within the Reception classroom.
- Work with individuals and small groups to develop early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Assist in delivering engaging and creative learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children with varying abilities and developmental needs.
- Assist with observations and contribute to children’s learning journeys.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
- Work closely alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team.
What We’re Looking For

- Have experience working with young children in a school, nursery, preschool, or childcare setting.
- Have an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Are patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing.
- Can create positive relationships and inspire confidence in young learners.
- Are adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
