Monarch Education is currently recruiting a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Bedminster, Bristol. The Role

As an EYFS Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support children throughout their Early Years education within the Reception classroom.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to develop early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Assist in delivering engaging and creative learning activities both indoors and outdoors.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children with varying abilities and developmental needs.
  • Assist with observations and contribute to children’s learning journeys.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Work closely alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Have experience working with young children in a school, nursery, preschool, or childcare setting.
  • Have an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Are patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing.
  • Can create positive relationships and inspire confidence in young learners.
  • Are adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
