Monarch Education are recruiting School Administrators to support primary schools across Derby.

We are working with a number of schools seeking organised, professional and reliable administrators who can support the day-to-day running of busy school offices. These opportunities are ideal for candidates with previous school administration experience and knowledge of school management systems such as SIMS or Arbor.

About the Role

As a School Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school office.

You will often be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff, providing a professional and welcoming service while supporting a range of administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage front-of-house reception duties
• Handle telephone, email and visitor enquiries
• Maintain accurate pupil records and databases
• Support attendance monitoring and reporting
• Process admissions and pupil information where required
• Assist with school communications and correspondence
• Provide general administrative support to the senior leadership team
• Support the day-to-day running of the school office

Requirements

• Previous school administration experience is highly desirable
• Experience using SIMS and/or Arbor is essential
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional and approachable manner
• Right to work in the UK
