Monarch Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Birmingham for a full-time Drama Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative teacher to join a supportive school community and inspire students through the performing arts. The successful candidate will teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering confidence, creativity, and a love of performance in the classroom.
The Role
- Full-time Drama Teacher position
- Temporary maternity cover
- Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4
- Planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities included
- Delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons
- Contributing to the wider performing arts provision where appropriate
- Supporting students to achieve their full potential both academically and creatively
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for performing arts and student development
- Ability to inspire and engage learners of all abilities
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
