Teaching Assistant

Location: Northampton
Job Type: Full Time, Term Time Only

Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time within a specialist educational setting in the Kettering area.

The Role
* Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
* Assist students with their academic, social and emotional development.
* Encourage independence and confidence within the classroom.
* Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
* Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
* Assist with personal care where required.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
* Patient, caring and resilient approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
