Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time Opportunities | South Birmingham

At Monarch Education, we are proud to support nurseries and early years settings across Birmingham by providing high-quality early years professionals who are passionate about making a difference.

We are currently working with a number of welcoming and well-established nurseries across South Birmingham that are looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Practitioners for full-time, long-term positions. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to join supportive teams and help provide outstanding care and education to children in their early years.

The settings have emphasised the importance of candidates holding a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, alongside recent experience working within a nursery or early years environment.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Various shift patterns available between 7:30am and 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
• Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and participate in engaging activities that promote children’s progress.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Support children’s personal care needs where required.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s development.
• Promote safeguarding and welfare practices at all times.

To Apply, You Must:

• Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
• Have recent experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Be passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high standards of care.
