You may support pupils with:

• Autism (ASC)
• SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs)
• ADHD
• Learning Disabilities
• Complex Needs
• Speech & Language Needs
• Challenging Behaviour

Depending on the setting, you may work within a specialist Autism provision, an SEMH environment, or support pupils with a combination of needs across the school.

The Role

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Helping pupils engage with learning
• Building positive relationships and routines
• Working alongside teachers and pastoral teams
• Supporting independence, communication and life skills

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Patience, resilience and a calm approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
