Are you an optimistic and engaging individual with experience working within a Primary school setting?

Monarch Education are currently working with a mainstream Primary school in Wigan, WN8 who are looking for a hard-working & motivated Teaching Assistant to join their energetic Year 3 classroom. Ideal candidates would have previous experience working in KS2, although EYFS/KS1 is acceptable. Candidates should be committed to providing excellent learning opportunities for children, feel confident supporting the class teacher and be passionate about ensuring the welfare and happiness of children.

The role:

• Full time, Monday-Friday
• Hours approximately 8:30am-3:30pm
• KS2 Teaching Assistant
• £11.69 – £13.38 per hour
• Wigan area

Responsibilities:

• Promoting a positive learning environment, adapting to all childen’s individual learning needs
• Supporting the class teacher with assigned tasks (photocopying, creating displays, setting up lessons etc)
• Ensuring good behaviour management
• Providing 1-1 support for individual pupils
• Delivering activities on 1-1 or small group basis such as guided reading or phonics
