1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant

Area: B11, Tysley, Birmingham

Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30 – 3:30

Salary: £100 – £110 per day

Start date: ASAP

Monarch education, part of affinity workforce, are working closely with 000 to appoint a 1:1 SEND teaching assistant.

This role will be working with a pupil in year 2 in the mornings and a pupil in reception in the afternoon, this role requires you do personal care.

Children only have one chance in education and it is therefore vital that they are motivated, supported and encouraged to achieve the highest standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• (Preferably) hold’s a level 3 teaching assistant or related qualification
• Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting that we can reference in the last 2 years
• Able to control challenging behaviour
• Knowledge and understanding of SEND practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.
