We require an experienced school administrator for a busy secondary school in Lichfield. Hours will be 08.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant will have experience working in an office, or school previously and have good communication skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the front of house office is running effectively and professionally. They will be supporting all staff and visitors upon entry to the site i.e. parents/carers, ensuring the school is kept safe, and visitors are correctly signed in and out.

The successful applicant will be in charge of keeping data and records, organising varying tasks to support the school operations manager. There will be an element of working independently, and within a small team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors to the school and dealing with their queries
  • Monitoring school supplies, and organising orders
  • Handling phone calls
  • Handling of petty cash for school dinners and school trips
  • Supporting visitors with queries
  • Organising and servicing meetings

Desired Skills:

  • A inviting can do attitude, with a drive to achieve all tasks given to them
  • Excellent communication skills with being able to work effectively in a team
  • Previous experience working in a school or as an administrator
  • Good knowledge of IT software i.e. Word, Excel, Power point. Including school IT Software i.e SIMS, PARENTPAY, BROMCOM.
