Monarch Education is recruiting an Art Teacher for a secondary school in the Birmingham area. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 and contribute positively to the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Art across KS3-KS4
  • Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons
  • Assess and report on pupil progress
  • Create a positive and inspiring learning environment
  • Support department planning and wider school priorities
  • Maintain effective behaviour management

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Art within a secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Confident delivering both practical and theory‑based Art lessons
