Autism Teacher, Bridgwater
A primary school in Bridgwater are appointing an experienced SEND teacher to join their school on a full time basis. The role will start September 2025 and run initially until the end of November 2025.
The role will involve teaching a class of Key Stage 1 pupils with Autism and will require experience and an understanding of working with children with additional needs.
It is essential to have experience of working with young people with Autism, the use of positive behaviour management strategies is encouraged and all applicants must be able to show how they have supported behaviour in similar roles. The role of a teacher in the school will involve planning all curriculum core subject lessons and leading a team of learning support assistants.
It is essential to have UK recognise Qualified Teacher Status for this position.
