Monarch Education are working with an Alternative Provision in Derby that supports pupils from KS1 to KS4 who require additional support to engage with education. The provision offers a structured and nurturing environment for young people who may be at risk of exclusion, have experienced challenges within mainstream education, or require a more tailored approach to learning.
The provision supports pupils with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, additional learning needs, communication difficulties and barriers that impact engagement, attendance and emotional regulation.
Monarch Education is recruiting a resilient and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to support pupils within an Alternative Provision setting.
This rewarding role involves working closely with children and young people who may display challenging behaviours, struggle with emotional regulation, or be at risk of exclusion. You will act as a positive role model, helping pupils build confidence, develop coping strategies and re-engage with learning.
Working alongside teachers, pastoral teams and wider professionals, you will provide both 1:1 and small group support to help pupils achieve positive outcomes.
All pay rates quoted are inclusive of rolled-up holiday pay.
