Monarch Education is working with a special needs school located in the NG5 area of Nottingham who require a Behaviour Support Assistant to join them on a full time basis starting asap.

This is a fast paced and varied role. The successful TA will be expected to working across the primary and secondary site. You will be expected to support children within the classroom and also within small groups.

This is a temporary role initially however, for the right candidate it could lead to a permanent position.

About the Role:

* Supporting children with challenging behaviour and providing nurturing support
* Managing student’s behaviour effectively – they have a history of being disruptive so you will be responsible for keeping them on task
* Following lessons set by teacher and keeping track of student’s progress

About you:

* You will be excellent at positively managing behaviour
* Calm and resilient approach
* A passion for helping young people progress and develop
* Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health difficulties is desirable

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

* Have a right to work in the UK (A valid visa)
* Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/Police checks.
