Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Area: Coventry

Salary: £95-£100 a day

Hours of work: 8:15am-3:30pm Monday- Friday

Monarch Education are recruiting for a school in Coventry who are looking for individuals to take on a Behaviour TA role. The school is seeking someone who is confident communicating and interacting with young people and supporting them with their social, emotional and mental health needs. This role is to start September 2024

Job Description:

• Working with children in the classroom setting
• Managing challenging behaviour
• Working with students one to one
• Acting as a positive role model to students
• Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students

The school are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Leader, Scout Leader or something similar
• Has a positive attitude
• Can engage children in and out of the classroom
• Feels confident managing challenging behaviour
• Has a can-do positive attitude
