Monarch Education are currently working with a mainstream secondary school in the Salford area, who are looking to appoint a new Biology Science Teacher who has a real passion for their subject. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the skills to maximise outcomes for pupils within Science at both KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of A level teaching for a suitably qualified candidate.

Main Duties

• To teach throughout the age and ability range as detailed in the National Curriculum and examination board requirements.
• To assess and record pupils’ progress within the guidelines of National Curriculum and the agreed procedures of the faculty.
• To maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the curriculum.
• To contribute to all aspects of work in the faculty, to ensure that the department is successful and continues to offer the pupils of the Academy a safe and stimulating environment.

The role:

• Full time, Mon – Fri
• Term time only
• Subject: Biology
• Keystages: KS3 & KS4
• Salford Area
• Start date: September 2024
