Business Studies Tutor (MGL) – Digbeth – Immediate Start

Monarch Education are currently seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Business Studies Tutor (MGL) to deliver BTEC Business Skills courses at Level 1 and Level 3 in a well-established education setting located in Digbeth, Birmingham. This is a part-time role, offering 6 hours per week with the potential to increase up to 20 hours, depending on learner demand and course expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tutor or industry professional looking to share their expertise and support learners in developing essential business knowledge and employability skills. The role involves delivering both practical and theoretical content, helping students build confidence and prepare for further education or employment.

• Location: Digbeth, Birmingham
• Hours: 6 hours per week (potential to increase to 20 hours)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Course: BTEC Business Skills Level 1 and Level 3

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience teaching BTEC Business or similar vocational qualifications
• Strong subject knowledge in business studies and employability skills
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A learner-focused approach and ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs
• Relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Business Skills
• Supporting learners with coursework, assessments, and progression
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
• Ensuring course delivery meets awarding body standards
