Business Studies Teacher

Monarch Education are working with a secondary school located in the South Birmingham Area (B14) who are looking to recruit a full time Business Studies Teacher. The successful teacher will need to have experience in delivering the subject to key stage 3&4 children and strong knowledge of the National Curriculum. The role is a maternity cover position due to start at Christmas and be for the rest of the academic year.

To be considered you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Prior experience as a Business Studies Teacher.
  • Must be able to teach KS3 & 4 Business Studies.

  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Be committed to improving standards and raising pupil attainment.
  • Be committed to attending parents’ evenings and assessing pupil progress.
  • Consistently provide support and encouragement to aid student’s progression and motivate individuals.
  • Adapt your approach to suit individuals learning capabilities and competency.
  • Have a flexible work approach to suit the School’s needs and curriculum requirement.
