The candidate needs to…
Have experience with SEND children or young adults (essential)
Friendly and resilient
Have a desire to support children
Have excellent behaviour management skills, or be willing to learn
Provide references relevant to this chosen role
Support children and young adults who may be non-verbal
Build great relationships with staff and children
Be able to work on site and off site, managing behaviours in both areas
