Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, are working in close partnership with a two‑form entry primary school in Coleshill to appoint a Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The role offers the opportunity to teach in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and school need.

The school was judged Good by Ofsted and has a thriving early years provision, including a nursery welcoming children from the age of two. It is part of a supportive diocesan multi‑academy trust, which places a strong emphasis on staff development, collaboration and investing in people at every stage of their career.

As part of a collaborative teaching model, you will be supported by a partner teacher, with PPA structured to allow shared planning of the school curriculum while retaining autonomy to bring your own strengths, creativity and passions into the classroom. The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS with recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Be an effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising attainment
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and age‑related expectations
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well‑sequenced lessons that maintain pace, challenge and motivation
  • Be committed to promoting the school’s Christian distinctiveness and values
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and a commitment to achieving excellence in teaching and learning
  • Be willing to engage fully in training and professional development opportunities
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
