Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Classroom Supervisor to join our team, supporting secondary schools in the Stalybridge area. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for education and previous experience working in a secondary school setting, who can support pupils on both a short-term and long-term basis.

Role Requirements:

  • Former experience in a secondary school setting.
  • A passion for supporting students and a keen interest in education.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage classroom behaviour.
  • Excellent organisational skills to ensure a smooth learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned materials in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Provide support to pupils, ensuring they remain engaged in their learning.
  • Assist with lunchtime or break duties as required.
  • Follow the school’s behaviour policy and report any safeguarding concerns to a senior member of staff.
