Rate of pay: £14.24-£16.96 per hour

Monarch Education is recruiting a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to support a friendly primary school in Hyde, Tameside (SK14). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the important role a clean, hygienic environment plays in the wellbeing and success of pupils and staff. Your Role
As a School Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school, helping to create a safe and welcoming learning environment for children and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices and communal areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting as required
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Sanitising surfaces and frequently touched areas
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or health and safety concerns
- Following school cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures
- Ensuring all areas are left clean, secure and ready for the next school day
What We’re Looking For
- A reliable and punctual individual with a strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Positive, professional and trustworthy approach
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
- Right to work in the UK
