Complex Needs Classroom Support

Shirley, Birmingham
Full Time: Monday – Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Start : ASAP until July 2025 with the potential to extend

Monarch Education are currently working in partnership with a special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Shirley who are seeking a specialised complex needs support member.

This all-age special school caters to students who all have a statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN), primarily focusing on moderate learning difficulties, with the primary need being Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

The Role:

You would be working in a small class of children at mixed abilities. You may also be mentoring children with SEND on a one-to-one basis to ensure every child gets a fair change at learning.

Requirements to apply:

  • You must have experience with autism or complex needs
  • You must either have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain this through Monarch
  • Able to provide 2 references minimum
