Working Pattern: Full-time (part-time may be considered)

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Computer Science and Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Solihull on a long-term supply basis. This is an immediate start position, running through until Easter, and would suit a confident and adaptable teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across both subject areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science and Business Studies at KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering high-quality lessons, and contributing to students’ academic progress during the placement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science and Business Studies lessons
  • Plan, prepare, and mark work in line with school policies
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet varying abilities
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with department staff and senior leadership

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent)
  • Confident teaching Computer Science and Business Studies at secondary level
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Available for an immediate start
  • An ECT or experienced teacher would be welcomed
