As a Secondary Computer Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire the next generation of computer scientists and equip them with the skills necessary to thrive in a technology-driven world. The school are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about teaching computer science concepts, programming languages, and problem-solving skills to students in KS3/4.
Develop and deliver engaging computer science curriculum in alignment with the school’s standards.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
Utilise a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology to enhance the learning experience.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and promote cross-curricular learning.
Stay current with advancements in computer science education and technology.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
