Monarch Education are working with a mainstream secondary school in the Peterborough area, who is currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to support within their school.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor, who can supervise whole classes during the absence of the class teacher, under the guidance of teaching/senior staff. The role will include implementing the curriculum and assisting students in completing their learning, in line with their needs and school policies and procedures.

In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to undertake administrative duties, in class support, exam invigilation and school break and lunchtime duties.

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Attentive to needs of pupils

  • Caring, patient, and understanding
  • Motivating with ability to engage pupils
  • Good ability to manage behaviour
  • Reliable and committed fully to each lesson assisted
