Location: Northampton – NN3

Pay: £110 – £129.03 p/day

Start date: 3rd September 2024

Closing date: 24th July

Working hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm Monday – Friday, FULL TIME

A large mainstream secondary school are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their vibrant and welcoming academy. This will be a varied and fast paced role working across the school.

You will be expected to cover across all subject areas and manage challenging behaviour in an adaptable and robust manner. There is no expectation to be a subject specialist or hold a specific teaching qualification however, you must be confident leading a class of up 30 children. The work and lessons will be set and organised by the school.

This is a perfect role for someone who is considering a career in teaching and would like to gain classroom experience. There are no set qualifications required for this position.

Sports coach’s, youth workers, graduates, activity leaders etc are usually very suitable for this position.

Candidates must be ready to start work in September and be able to work 8:15am – 3:15pm.

Previous experience of managing challenging behaviour and working in a fast paced environmental is desirable but not essential.
