Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Salary: £27000pa, with potential £2,000 bonus for Montessori qualified candidates

Monarch Education is dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care, fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team in Kingswood.

Role Overview:
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of childcare and education are maintained. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to lead the team, promote a positive and safe environment, and implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery management, including staff supervision, curriculum implementation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Lead by example, providing a caring and stimulating environment that promotes children’s learning and development.
  • Assist in managing nursery budgets and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop positive relationships with parents, staff, and children, ensuring open communication and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or above).
  • QTS also accepted
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a nursery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and the ability to deliver a high standard of care and education.
  • Montessori qualification is desirable and may attract a £2,000 bonus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
