Monarch Education is working with this school located in the Rushden area to recruit a DT teacher to join their school on a full-time basis commencing after May half term for a long-term post. This is a cover position so there will be no planning and marking involved. You will be expected to cover some Art lessons as well as DT.

Staff are committed to delivering the very best education to every single student, and from their very first day at school, through to their last, they will have their complete focus and attention.

Responsibilities:
* Deliver strong, engaging classes to prepare pupils
* Ensure effective teaching of whole classes, groups and individuals, establishing high expectations of behaviour and attainment, so that teaching objectives are met
* Deliver creative lessons
* Communicating with parents and carers over pupils progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents evenings and whole school training events

The perfect candidate would have:

* Outstanding classroom management and inter-personal skills
* Excellent knowledge of the DT curriculum with a Graphics specialism
