We are supporting a well‑established and inclusive secondary school in the Birmingham area that is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join the Performing Arts department. This role is ideal for a passionate practitioner who can inspire students, deliver high‑quality lessons, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging and dynamic Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver a curriculum that inspires creativity, confidence, and self‑expression.
  • Prepare students for practical and written assessments, ensuring strong progress.
  • Support school performances, productions, enrichment clubs and wider arts initiatives.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation, and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Performing Arts provision.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Drama and the Performing Arts.
  • Ability to deliver imaginative, well‑structured practical and theory lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management and rapport‑building skills.
  • A positive, proactive mindset with a commitment to student success.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
