We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary education setting from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through engaging and creative Drama lessons, helping them develop confidence, communication skills, and a love for the performing arts.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or a strong Drama specialist with relevant classroom experience, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
  • Encourage creativity, self-expression, and performance skills.
  • Contribute to extracurricular Drama activities, productions, and performances where appropriate.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and achievement.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching Drama on a full-time basis within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A passion for Drama and performing arts education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, although strong unqualified candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
