Monarch Education are working with the Local Authority to recruit several Tutors to teach a group of refugee children of mixed ages and abilities (Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4).
This is a unique position for someone looking to challenge themselves by having root to branch input into planning and delivering a bespoke curriculum to a group of children who have been resettled in the UK and do not speak English. We are aiming to provide each Child with 5-6 hours tutoring each week to enable them to independently communicate effectively in day to day life and give them a the blocks to build on for when they get permanently settled elsewhere in the UK.
Pay: £20 – £40 per hour
Start: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months minimum
Working Week: Ideally 5 x days a week 9:00am – 12:00pm
