Your Role

As an Early Years Childcare Assistant, you’ll be:

  • Supporting babies, toddlers and pre‑school children in their daily routines
  • Helping create stimulating play and learning activities
  • Promoting children’s development through the Early Years Framework
  • Ensuring a safe, happy, and supportive environment
  • Working collaboratively with nursery staff and parents

What You’ll Need

  • A positive, nurturing and energetic approach
  • Experience working with children (nursery, school, childcare setting, volunteering, etc.)
  • A willingness to enhance your skills and confidence in early years
  • A valid enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
