Monarch Education are currently working with a Primary School in the Harborne area of Birmingham to find an experienced Early Years Teacher to start in September 2024. This role will be full time, ongoing until the end of the academic year (July 2025). There will be planning involved in this role and you will get one day per week PPA time for this. This school is Ofsted Outstanding and they are looking for someone with outstanding knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum to ensure children continue to meet their EYFS Goals.

Requirements of applicant:

• You Must have QTS for this role
• Outstanding knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
• Experienced teaching children of EYFS Age
• Experienced teaching and supporting children with SEND needs
• Confident in the use of Phonics – Little Wandle and Letters & Sounds

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planned and delivering effective lesson plans to pupils in your reception class
• Providing regular feedback to parents / SLT on the progression of each pupil
• Tailor lesson plans to meet the educational needs and abilities of all children
• Follow policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines
• Set firm but fair educational targets to challenge the needs of all pupils
• Help children to meet their Early Stages of Development targets
• Ensured pupils receive the most appropriate and accurate support from yourself and teaching assistants in class

Salary: Paid to scale for this role (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
