We are currently recruiting for a part-time Reception Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Yardley (B25). This is a job share opportunity, offering a great work-life balance within a supportive school environment.

Role Available:

🔹 Reception Class Teacher (Part Time – Job Share)
* Teaching within an Early Years (Reception) setting
* Working alongside a job share partner to deliver high-quality learning
* Supporting pupils’ early development in a nurturing and engaging environment

About the role:

• Monday to Wednesday – Part time (term time only)
  * Based in Yardley (B25)
  * Job share role within Reception
  * Full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, and assessment (shared)
  * Working collaboratively with Early Years staff and wider school team

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a committed, experienced, and enthusiastic Early Years teacher with a passion for supporting young learners.

You will:
* Have recent experience teaching within Early Years / Reception (within the last 2 years, with references)
* Be confident delivering the EYFS curriculum
* Have a nurturing, patient, and engaging teaching approach
* Be able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Work effectively as part of a team, particularly within a job share role
* Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to B25

Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs – applicants must have prior teaching experience.
