Early Years Teaching Assistant – Wellingborough

Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Wellingborough area to find an Early Years Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. You must hold a Level 3 Qualification for this role.

The candidate for this role will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, enabling access to learning for pupils while assisting the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

  • Encourage the pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
  • Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher.
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work.
  • Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals targets/appropriate to EYFS.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
