Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and confident Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Solihull on a variable hours basis.

Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Solihull

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality support within the early years setting, assisting with daily activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for young children. You will be confident in providing personal care, including toileting, and supporting children’s individual needs to promote their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children’s learning through engaging activities and play-based learning
  • Assisting with personal care routines, including toileting and hygiene needs
  • Supporting children with their emotional and social development
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
  • Working closely with teachers and parents to support individual needs
  • Monitoring and recording children’s progress and behaviour

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must hold a recognised Early Years qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting children in an early years setting
  • Confident in providing personal care and toileting support
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development
  • Reliable, caring, and proactive approach
