Electrical Trainer/Assessor – Birmingham Campuses – Immediate Start

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Electrical Trainer/Assessor to join a leading vocational education provider, working across multiple campuses in Birmingham. This is a full-time role, operating Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm, with an immediate start available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrical professional with a passion for teaching and assessment to support learners in gaining industry-recognised qualifications. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in electrical installation and related subjects, helping students develop the practical and theoretical skills needed for success in the sector.

Key Details:

  • Location: All campuses across Birmingham
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Specialism: Electrical Installation, Assessment & Training

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching and assessing electrical installation or related subjects
  • Strong industry knowledge and up-to-date technical skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A learner-focused approach and commitment to quality education
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective training sessions in electrical installation
  • Assessing learner competence in both practical and theoretical components
  • Supporting learners through their qualifications and progression
  • Ensuring compliance with awarding body standards and internal quality processes
  • Maintaining accurate records of learner achievement and feedback
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment
