We are working with a school in Solihull who are looking to recruit a English teacher to start February this will be a temporary role but could possibly lead to long term.
They are looking for an inspiring and outstanding classroom practitioner to add to their team; we are looking for someone who is ambitious and able to share their enthusiasm and passion for Science with all of their students and colleagues.
The successful candidate ideally would have, but not essential to have:
Hold a Qualified Teacher Status.
Prior experience as a English Teacher.
Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Be committed to improving standards and raising pupil attainment.
Be committed to assessing pupil progress.
Hold a DBS which is registered online with the DBS update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can combine subject matter expertise with a passion for teaching English. Your responsibilities as a English teacher will include some of the following:
Planning, teaching and assessing GCSE English lessons to small mixed ability classes.
Being a positive role model and establishing positive relationships with pupils and helping to develop their social skills.
Working well with other members of the department and school staff to provide a stimulating learning environment.
Having a positive impact on the educational progress of students in your assigned class.
