English Teacher

Location: Arnold, Nottinghamshire

Pay: £130 – £220 p/day

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday, FULL TIME

Monarch Education are supporting a large Secondary School based in Nottingham, to source an experienced English Teacher. The ideal candidate will promote a positive environment and will have a genuine enthusiasm for teaching English.

The successful candidate will join a warm and friendly English Team, that has a focus on innovation and sharing good practice.

This a full-time teaching position and the successful teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering English across Key Stages.

Requirements of applicant:

  • English or relevant subject Degree
  • DfE recognised Teaching Qualification such as QTS, PGCE or Equivalent
  • Experienced and knowledgeable on the English curriculum across Key Stages
  • Able to plan and deliver English lessons to students aged 11-16 years old
  • Able to adapt learning styles to ensure students with multiple needs can understand and learn
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students
