English Teacher, Filton

Monarch Education are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled English Language Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Bristol.

We work with a secondary school in the Filton area who are appointing a teacher with a specialism in English for a new long term position. The role is full time and will start immediately. The successful applicant will be paid to scale for this position; Lesson planning, marking and assessment are included as part of this role and will be reflected in the rate of pay.

UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role however if you have a degree in English and would like to find out more about working as a cover supervisor please get in touch.

Job responsibilities:

• Planning/Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
• Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils
