We are currently recruiting for a full-time Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Selly Oak (B29). This is a long-term opportunity, offering consistency and the chance to become a valued member of a supportive school community.
🔹 Reception Teaching Assistant (Full Time)
* Supporting pupils in an Early Years (Reception) classroom
* Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development
* Providing general classroom support across a range of activities
* Monday to Friday – Full time (8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only)
* Based in Selly Oak (B29)
* Long-term position with potential to continue
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis
* Working collaboratively with teachers and Early Years staff
We are seeking a reliable, committed, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting young children.
You will:
* Have recent experience working in a school setting (within the last 2 years, with references)
* Ideally have experience within a Reception / Early Years setting
* Be confident supporting pupils with early development and learning
* Have a positive and flexible attitude
* Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to B29
