EYFS Teaching Assistant

£65 - £100 per day

Monarch Education are working very closely with a two form-entry Primary School in Dudley. This OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school are hoping to recruit a full time EYFS Teaching Assistant to work with children across both Nursery and Reception. The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will be responsible for helping children in EYFS to access the curriculum and bridge attainment gaps, in groups of up to 6 children. The EYFS Teaching Assistant will be joining a super supportive and hard working team, where there are lots of opportunities for development.

The EYFS Teaching Assistant will be:

  • Supporting the Classroom Teacher’s
    * Monitoring and evaluation of pupil’s progress
    * Assisting in the assessment of pupils
    * Have a good understanding of the EYFS national curriculum
    * Good behaviour management
    * Must have EYFS experience
    * Understanding of the emotional and social needs of children

The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience of supporting children in EYFS
    * Great knowledge of the UK EYFS curriculum
  • A nurturing and positive attitude toward their work
    * A desire to support pupil progress both socially and academically
