Early Years Teaching Assistant

Area: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Salary: £88.92 – £105.89 a day

Hours of work: 8:30am – 3:15pm Monday- Friday

Monarch Education are recruiting for a school in Stroud who are looking for individuals to take on a Teaching assistant role. The school is seeking someone who is confident communicating and interacting with young people and supporting them with their social, emotional and mental health needs.

Job Description:

• Working with children in the classroom setting.
• Improving motor skills.
• Working with students one to one.
• Acting as a positive role model to students.
• Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students.

The school are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Leader, Scout Leader or something similar.
• Has a positive attitude.
• Can engage children in and out of the classroom.
• Has a can-do positive attitude.
